A dynamic experience that sparks creativity and individual expression. While we'd love to have you all, space is limited…so sign up now! This summer we have THREE exciting themes for camp. Go one week or all three!
Long, Long Ago! / June 18-June 22 / June 25-June 29
Explore all of the fun and creativity of artists from prehistoric times through the enlightened masters! During this week we will make paint, work with plaster and even create a DaVinci-style invention. Come prepared to be inspired!
Let The Sun Shine In! / July 9-July 13 / July 16-July 20* / July 23-July 27
Paint, sculpt, draw and create light, airy and sunny works of art inspired by nature like Impressionist artists Monet, Degas, Cassatt and more!
*July 16-July 20 is reserved for Rising K artists at 9am-Noon and Grade 6-8 artists from 1pm-4pm.
Wild, Wacky & Modern! / July 30-August 3 / August 6-August 10
Discover the wacky world of Picasso, O'Keefe, Pollock and Warhol:
Abstract and Modern Art. Just like these artists, we’ll take everyday things and turn them into amazing works of art!
Art Classes
Creative, inspiring and totally hands-on. The Purple Dog fun never stops! Purple Dog art classes run September through May and are grouped by age, letting each student develop at his/her pace. You're not obligated for the entire year and can join the program at any time.
*There is a $25 annual registration fee (per artist) for our art classes. Fee includes artist smock and drawing journal.
Online sign up for Children's Art Classes is FALL 2012 only.

Ages 2 & 3 (with Parent) / Tuesday, 11am-Noon - $80/month
Created just for our littlest artists!
Drawing, painting, clay and crafts help develop motor skills and awareness, and spark the imagination.
Ages 4 & 5 / Tuesday or Wednesday, 9-10am/2-3pm - $80/month
The perfect class for preschoolers and half day kindergartners who are ready to tackle projects on their own! Explore basic art skills and techniques through different media, including charcoal, pastels, watercolor, acrylic, clay, paper mache and more.
Grades K-5 / Monday-Thursday, 4-5:30pm - $100/month
A fun introduction to the elements of art and principles of design, with an emphasis on art history, drawing, painting, basic art processes and individual creative expression. Class meets once a week.
Grades 6-8 / Thursday, 6-7:30pm - $100/month
A deeper dive into the elements of art and principles of design, with inspiring art history discussions. Designed to expand understanding of concepts, develop advanced drawing/painting skills and apply them to projects.
Adult / Thursday, 1-3pm - $100/month or $25/class
Come to the studio and work on your own, or follow along on a basic project.
Explore oil, acrylic and watercolor painting. Beginners welcome.
*Adult classes do not have a registration fee.
